The students visited at Centre for Brackish water Aquaculture at Ayiramthengu ,Kollam district as a part of study programme .There the students were familiarized with different hatcheries for brackish water species and they were introduced to new type of RAS system. Students were also introduced to different varieties of mangrove in that area. The mangrove area of Ayiramthengu is India’s first mangrove research centre.
